The Bathkeeper’s Cottage is located in the center of historic Berkeley Springs, the 1776 Town of Bath, on the grounds of the old Bathkeeper, John Davis’ home and his “Grove”, Lot 18 on the original town plat. The “Grove” was home to the Strother Hotel (1849-1896) and the former Park View Inn (1930’s-1970’s).
The cottage is set in a private garden and lawn beside the Warm Springs Run. A foot bridge from the parking area leads into a relaxing lawn and gardens offering guest solitude, privacy and convenience adjacent to Berkeley Springs baths and spa.
The cottage provides a comfortable bedroom/living space for a couple with flooring and beams from the original 1849 Bathkeeper’s home. The bedroom/living space gives way to a convenient fully equipped kitchen and a private bath with tub and shower.
Guest are within walking distance of the town center, shops, galleries, museum, antique malls, festivals and spas.
Stay at the historic Bathkeper’s Cottage with it’s privacy, gardens, and serene surroundings.
